What Does a Traveling Photographer Mean?
You might be wondering, "What does a traveling photographer do?" Simply put, it means I bring the photo studio experience to the comfort of your own home. Instead of you having to travel to a studio, I come to you, bringing all the necessary equipment and setup to create beautiful images in your own space. We also can go to the location of your choice, after you book your session, I'll send you a list with my favorite locations.
The process
No experience in front of camera is required, you aren’t responsible for anything other than being present. Enjoy an stress-free, personal and rewarding portrait session where you will be guided every step of the way. I promise you will have at the end beautiful and unique images.
Consultation
Once you decide to book with me, I’ll reach out via email or text to discuss your vision for the shoot. We’ll talk about color schemes, outfits, and any props you’d like to use, as well as the number of people who will be in the photos. For newborn sessions, I especially encourage including family shots.
The Session
My equipment is portable, compact and will fit into almost any room.
I come fully prepared with props like blankets, wraps, headbands, and hats for both boys and girls, as well as backdrops and additional accessories. For most sessions I only need one room to set up.
Relax! it’s not your job to be photogenic! I will guide you through body language and expression, I'll pose your body to achieve the most flattering poses and manage a lighting set up that will make you look your best. I'll work with you to bring out the best of your personal style, making sure that you feel confident and comfortable throughout your photoshoot.
Professional retouching
Professional image retouching is included in your experience. I specialize in high-end editing, which means each of your images will be detailed retouched while maintaining a natural look of your liking.
After the session
Approximately 20 days after your session, I’ll send you an email with a link to your gallery. We’ll then schedule a time to meet or FaceTime so I can walk you through the ordering process and offer support as you select your images and prints. Your gallery will also include options to purchase canvases, wall art, and other products!

For maternity and newborn sessions, neutral or pastel colors often create a soft and timeless look. I can provide more detailed guidance on outfits once we confirm your session.
How long after the session will we receive our photos?
Typically, you can expect to receive your pre edited photos within 2-4 weeks of your session. I will send you a link to an online gallery where you can view, select, and order prints of your images. The final images will be fully retouched.
Can we request specific poses or ideas for the session?
Absolutely! I encourage you to share any specific poses, ideas, or themes you have in mind. Whether it’s a special location, a particular style, or certain props, I’m here to work with you to ensure the session reflects your vision.
What happens if we need to reschedule or cancel our session?
Life happens, and I understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let me know as soon as possible. For cancellations, a non-refundable deposit may apply, but I’ll do my best to accommodate rescheduling requests. Everything will be covered in our written contract.

How can I prepare my child for their photo session?
To help your child feel comfortable:

Bring their favorite toys or snacks.
Ensure they’re well-rested and fed before the session.
